How to restore your restaurant

I have spent the past eight years of my life reviewing various restaurants around the country, & i’m writing this article to (hopefully) help all restaurant owners that are currently struggling to get the customers needed to run a profitable business – and let’s face it , what restaurant owner – in their right mind – wouldn’t want to attract more customers?

When reviewing a restaurant you have to take everything into account , not just what the meal tastes like and how great the service is . I would normally have to talk about the lay out and interior design as well as the restaurant table and chairs.

Ensuring that the restaurant furniture is set out in the appropriate manner is unbelievably effective. It is not about feng shui, which i’m sure is complete tripe , it is about presentation & practicality . These two words are extremely important. If you get the presentation right then the food doesn’t even have to be that great to impress the clientele – most customers can’t tell the difference between a runner bean and a baked bean ! Ok, so I may be slightly exaggerating . But if they are comfortable and inspired by their surroundings, then they are much more likely to come back , and If they think they are dining at a classy place, they’ll definitely tell their friends . Creating a relaxing environment that looks both stylish & modern is fairly easy to do , and it doesn’t have to be too expensive . There are many online restaurant furniture suppliers that offer trade price deals. Pick a design that you like and that suits your restaurant and the customers will come . A good idea, if you’re thinking about starting your own restaurant, or just wanting to spruce the place up , is to visit some of the more popular restaurants to see what they’re doing right.
